  Incredibly friendly and competent staff. We arrived mid day on a Monday, so there were no other customers. I ordered an almond milk latte and went to the bathroom. When I came back out it was ready, but it was hot instead of iced ( my fault for not specifying) I asked if I could just have it dumped into a cup with some ice but the batista insisted on making me a new one properly so it wouldn't be watered down. It's a simple act but one that shows they care about the product going out, regardless of whether or not it's going to a local or someone they may never see again. It's stuff like this that makes me remember your establishment, and make a point of going out of my way the extra two blocks from the freeway so I can avoid the Starbucks.

  If you decided to drive a half mile further than Starbucks, you have chosen wisely. This is a great local coffee shop. No film flat—just good coffee and ice cream.
